- Formulate and oversee implementation of ICT policy within the ministry;
- Develop and manage network infrastructure for the ministry;
- Advise on system development and management practice for ICT related issues;
- Advise on data management and information security systems;
- Enhance E-Government and Digital Services Support;
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery plan for business continuity;
- Provide ICT Research and Innovation on existing and emerging technologies; and
- Provide technical support on procurement and vendor management of ICT gadgets in-line with the National ICT Framework.
