The Hon. Minister July G. Moyo is a seasoned career civil servant, who rose through the ranks to serve as Permanent Secretary in various Ministries before being appointed Minister in several portfolios, including Energy, Environment, Labour, and Local Government, among others.

He currently serves as the Governor of Midlands Province and is the Member of Parliament for Redcliff Constituency.

 In addition, he holds the position of Secretary for Transport and Welfare in the ruling ZANU PF Politburo. In January 2025, he was transferred to the Ministry of Energy from the Ministry of Public Service, Labour and Social Welfare.
